Last First Draft uses only essential cookies — the ones required to keep you signed in and make the app work. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and our page-visit measurement is configured to set no cookies at all, so there is nothing to opt out of and no consent banner to click through.

Analytics
On our public pages — the home page, pricing, FAQ, user guide, and these policy pages — we use Google Analytics to count page visits, so we can tell which pages are worth improving. We have configured it to store nothing on your device: no cookies, no advertising identifiers, and no profile that follows you to other sites.
What it records is limited to the page you viewed, the site or search engine you arrived from, your approximate country, and your browser and device type. Because nothing is stored on your device, we cannot tell whether two visits came from the same person.
It does not run once you are signed in. Nothing you do inside the app — the pages you open, the drafts you work on, or their titles — is measured or sent anywhere.
Browser storage
The app also keeps a few preferences in your browser's local storage — things like your editor theme, font, line spacing, and which draft is open. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us or to anyone else.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Because every cookie we set is essential, blocking them will sign you out and prevent the app from working.
